Ottlite SanitizingPRO LED Desk Lamp with UVC Air Purifier

I started out wanting a desk lamp for my hubby’s office but ended up using this as my bedside reading lamp. First, my hubby is a smoker and I have air cleaners everywhere but even though he never smoked in my bedroom I often woke up sneezing. This lamp has quickly made my life so much better, I run the air purifier at night after accidentally leaving it on and getting the best nights sleep ever. The light feature has 3 different brightness settings along with optional sanitizing and purifying modes. I love being able to just swipe a finger across any setting to quickly switch from different modes, no fumbling around to push buttons. The lamp also has a USB plug-in on the back to charge some cellphone models too. My absolute favorite thing is the air purifier fan, it runs fairly quietly and has more than one speed option. After I’m done reading at night I leave the air purifier running and no longer wake up sneezing. As an office lamp, it’s perfect it gives off the right amount of night to get work done and also helps us breathe cleaner air while taking care of business.

Before COVID I never really thought about all the germs on the desk and keyboard. I gave a quick clean and called it good. Now, I realize I need to try to sanitize, but that is a never ending task with a family. OttLite wellness series- Sanitizing Pro LED Desk Lamp and UVC Air Purifier is a great help. The light has 3 modes: light; light and sanitize; and sanitize only. Plus, each mode has three levels of brightness. There is also a little fan with a HEPA filter to trap airborne allergens. Overall, I am really happy with the desk lamp. The light seems to reduce eyestrain for me and I like the idea of sanitizing the workspace. I was also very happy to find the USB port on the back of the lamp. The only con is having to replace the HEPA filter.

As soon as this lamp arrived, my wife claimed ownership of it. She often works from home and has her two computers spread out on the dining room table. She loves this lamp. It has a very sleek design. She loves that she can adjust the brightness to three different settings with a touch of the button so no matter what time of the day or night she in on computer, she has the perfect amount of light and the flex-neck easily adjusts. She also has allergies so loves that fact that this has a HEPA air filtration and the UVC LEDs in base help kill airborne viruses. The three modes are; Clear Sun LED, Sanitizing, and ClearSun + Sanitizing LED. Omits only the slightest noise when purifer is on. Would make the perfect gift! This lamp even has a USB charging port at rear of lamp so you can charge other items, which is a great bonus.
