The main objective of an ionic foot detox is to help make the body’s pH more alkaline, which is vital to a person’s health.  Because diseases thrive in acidic environments, the less acidic your body is, the less susceptible you are to disease and illness.

• The Center for Disease Control reports that up to 85% of all illnesses are caused by toxins and pollutants in our bodies. • Ionic foot spa – It boosts the immune system by altering the body’s ph levels. It improves circulation and heart health, reduces the occurrence of headaches and migraines, while simultaneously reducing blood pressure, stress levels and the physical recovery process. Chronic diseases, pain and inflammation can be diminished, greatly improving quality of life.
• Massage mode – It combines therapeutic massage with more traditional Chinese medicine practices. Select from 8 body part options, 6 varying intensities, as well as the massage modalities of acupuncture, scraping (gua sha) or cupping.
• Food detoxification – Prevents premature oxidation of fruits and vegetables which is responsible for the deterioration of food quality. Washing fruits and vegetables in alkaline water neutralizes toxic residue from pesticides that plain tap water cannot.

How it works

• An ionic detox works using a process of exchange between the positive and negative ions in your body, and their opposite numbers in the water. This lowers the body’s acidity, reducing the risk of disease.  The detoxification process continues to alkalize the body up to 48 hours after the treatment.  The water used changes color naturally because of the chemical reaction between the electricity and the salt water, not because of toxins.
• The hydrogen mode injects high concentrations of hydrogen molecules into the bath which bond with free radicals, working as an antioxidant.  They can then be removed from the body in liquid form, via urination and sweat.  This antioxidant function helps provide overall health protection.  This same process works when washing fruits and vegetables as the pesticides are neutralized, the oxidation process is slowed, and the nutritional quality and flavor of the food consumed is preserved.
