EMF Protection Methods: 5 Practical Solutions

Over the course of the past few years, many of us have become aware of the dangers of electomagnetic field (EMF) exposure. Simply put, this is a danger that is everywhere. Cell phones, computers, microwaves, power lines…they all give off EMF. It’s time we start thinking about EMF protection seriously, especially as we learn more about the damage EMF has the potential to cause.

As for the effects EMF exposure causes, it’s still up for debate. Thousands of studies have found that chronic exposure to low-level radiation can cause a variety of cancers, as well as decreased immunity, an increased risk of dementia, and many other health concerns. It’s speculated that EMFs open the blood-brain barrier, causing blood vessels to leak fluid into the brain and damage neurons. Additionally, many people report depression, headaches, fatigue, and an overall poor sense of well-being in connection with EMF exposure.

As time goes on and more research is gathered, we expect to learn the full extent of the dangers of EMF exposure. In the meantime, you can protect yourself using these 5 practical solutions.

1.) Invest in EMF protection devices. At Tools for Wellness, we offer a variety of EMF protection devices that can deliver shielding in a variety of situations and environments. Use Q-Link products to reduce EMF exposure from cell phones, appliances, and household electronics. You can also take advantage of EMF protection jewelry to keep yourself protected while you’re on the move, as they are perfect for everyday wear. Just check out our full selection of EMF protection devices to see which ones are appropriate for your lifestyle.

2.) Avoid wireless technologies if possible. It’s known that EMF in the radio range accumulates quickly, so you may want to choose wired technologies over wireless, especially in cases like internet, phone systems, or security systems. If you must have wireless, try to keep it away from common living and sleeping areas for additional EMF protection.

3.) Most of us have cell phones, but we can be safer by choosing to not use a wireless headset. Use speakerphone instead or text message. Of course, practice common sense and safety in terms of where and when it’s appropriate to use your cell phone.

4.) Use LED lighting. Not only are these energy savers, but they also emit “cleaner” electricity in terms of EMF exposure levels. CFL bulbs are known for being green, but they use less energy by turning themselves on and off in quick succession, sometimes 100,000 times in a second. Those cycles of turning on and off release additional EMF.

5.) Keep seating and beds away from circuit breakers or electrical panels, as these areas are known to give off high EMF levels. At least 3 to 4 feet away from these areas is appropriate for EMF protection.
